Like many of us of our generation; didn't listen to my parents. Went into the Air Force, got pregnant, got married, in that order. Spent 9 years in the Air Force ex husband and I had 3 children--Brian, Aisling, and James. Went all over the world--Europe (lived in Wiesbaden West Germany) , Africa, Middle East, etc... spent most of my time in Riyadh Saudi Arabia translating Arabic and Farsi documents. Moved back to the states in 90. Got out and came HOME! Went back to school in 90 (about time)and plugged away finally achieving my PhD in 2001. During that time, got divorced, raised kids, worked 2 or 3 jobs, etc...etc... blah blah blah... Decided that marriage was not the best choice for me. And have been happily single since 1997. My children are all grown up now. Daughter got married last summer. Oldest son is going to have a baby with his baby-momma in April. Youngest son trying to figure out how to be an adult. I now own and operate an agency that supports adults with disabilities, mental health issues, and community protection concerns to live independently in the community. We are located in Marysville WA. Currently we have 24 clients and a total of 54 full-time employees. I've spent so much time raising kids and working on my education and career that I've not had the opportunity to purchase a home. Soooo...that is what I am up to now. I hope to purchase a home in the Rucker Hil...Expand for more
