Wendy's Story
I'm back. I've been off the air for slmost two years. During which time I had to pack everything I owned to move either to a low income housing or move in with my daughter. So, I took the option to move in with my daughter. Been here since the 5th of July. Three adults and seven animals, but all are small. We all share the same computer and have to take turns on using it. We live in a basement apartment and it is a little cramped. We all get along for the most part but that's par for the course. I sure miss the mountains and the wildlife and my friends and neighbors from there. I do get to visit with everyone when I have to go to the doctors or the dentist. Well not much more to tell right now. Maybe more will happen later. Well here it is June and we have quite a few fires around the state. The smoke is bad for my daughter and me with our asthma. My Son-in-law ended up in the hospital for two months with his diabetes. Then in March I had passed two kidney stones. Then in May I had to have surgery on a stone that was humungous. f inches long and about a half inch wide. I'm just glad that it never broke lose cause I think it would have killed me. I do know that I would not have been able to pass it. Anyway, I'm okay and just a little sore still. Anyway, not much more going on. Just a lot of hot dry weather and lots of fires and smoke. Well here it is fall weather and we've had a small bit of snow. Didn't last long tho. My two brothers both had prostate cancer and the younger brother manged to beat it. But my older brother lost his battle with it and we lost him sometime in August or September of this year. My mother is still living and is 86 and living in Florida. I hope I can live that long. I finally got a copy of my 1966 yearbook. Now I can put faces to the names that keep popping up saying that they know me. I didn't get the '67 yearbook cause I wasn't there for my last year. I did get my GED though in West Virginia. Believe it or not I passed it with a 53. Anyway, guess that's enough for now. At least till I can think of something else to write about. My love to all of you and my GOD be with you always.
