Wendy's Story
After graduating from City, I stayed and graduated from U of I with a nursing degree. Back in 1993, there wasn't a nursing shortage (go figure) so I had the opportunity to work at The Mayo Clinic, since I had done a summer internship there. eral years later we were married. Ironically he graduated from CHS as well (1993.) We are now finally blessed with a son who keeps us busy and grounded. We also have a wonderful yellow Lab. We're diehard Hawkeye fans and faithfully cheer them on each football season. (Though this past season hasn't made us very proud...) That's our life back here in the old hometown.
