Wendy's Story
Life
I am married 33 years. Even I can't believe it. SSVC friends will find irony in the fact that my married name is Dougherty, (No relation to Ed) But I do live about 10 miles from he and his family. When I left SSVC I went to Clarion State and Toni Waugh was my roommate. She remains my dearest friend.We have three kids.All thru college,One's a Lawyer in Philadelphia. City Solicitor (for Child welfare) married & living in S Philly. Our middle daughter teaches Autistic kids in Berwin PA and lives in Havertown. The baby just graduated college and is living home for a while. Works for the census bureau. I work as a Speech Pathologist, and do alot of community service.(2 School Boards)I've recently become a gym rat, trying to ward off that middle age.I have just moved 75 ft from Atlantic Lucky me...Expand for more

It took me nearly twenty years to go back to a SSVC reunion but I'm so glad I did. I've been back for three since.
College
After graduating CSC midyear '75 I moved to South Jersey because I had a job in my field. Speech Path. I got married in '76 and have been so since. I went for my MA at Trenton State College and graduated in'79. I've worked in my field since graduation except the three years I took off to have my kids (3). My middle daughter was in college at JMU in VA and just pledged ZTA. Weird huh? Since I had quit my senior year I never told her I had been a Zeta. She was very surprised. I have been the classic soccer mom for 12 years, and am living 75 ft from the beach and life is good. Looking forward to retirement within the next year. Busy, busy, busy. Some things never change.
