Life
Hey ya'll! Living in Texas with my family of 6 (hubby, me, 3 boys and a girl). I sure miss the quality education at East High, wish my kids had the same opportunity, but I don't miss the cold weather!
Went in the Marine Corps in 84, was in NC from 85-91, then back to the midwest from 91-03.
I hope everyone is doing great and drop me a line if you want to reconnect.
School
Loved school but wouldn't admit it at the time. Had a blast in drama doing the plays every year. Mr. Peterson, our Science teacher from Bunger then East, was the one teacher I really looked up to and admired. He treated us like young adults and talked to us on the same level, never talked "down" ...Expand for more

Mr. C scared the life outta me when he caught me hot rodding in Brian Pauling's GTO in front of the school. I was told I popped a wheelie, didn't mean to, it was just too much muscle for me. LOL I'll never forget the look on his face when he pointed at me and did that come here motion with the finger. I knew I was dead, and wasn't even afraid of my pops at that time, just Mr. C.
Military
Went to MCRD PISC (Nov 84- Jan 85), school (Spring of 85) at Camp LeJeune, NC. Stationed at MCAS Cherry Point, NC the rest of my enlistment between MWHS-2 and MWSS-271. Miss the job I did, loved it. Miss the guys I worked with, but didn't miss the SNCOs, too much "Old Corps" there.
