Wendy's Story
Life
I am happily remarried to my longtime love and former motorpool sergeant, Mark Howe, and living in Grafenwoehr, Germany. Even though we are both out of the Army, we love being able to provide support to the troops.
Military
I joined the Army in July 1996, and after basic training was able to get a three-year assignment in Kaiserslautern, Germany. During this time, I attended night classes and finished my undergraduate degree; I also traveled constantly. In 1998, I app...Expand for more
lied and was accepted to Officer Candidate School. After receiving my commission in May 1999, I accepted another 3-year tour to Germany, followed by a two-year assignment in Seattle, Washington. After eight years of Army service, I got out in September 2004; I thoroughly enjoyed my military service.
Over the past 7 years, I worked with my my mother's financial assistance firm in West Columbia, Texas, as well as started my own business as a virtual administrative assistant.
