Wes's Story
Life:
I have been very happily married (to Pam) for 25 years, and have two beautiful kids -- Darby (girl, 18), about to graduate from high school, and Caleb (boy, 11). We love living in College Station, where Pam and I met at Texas A&M, both graduated from there in 1983, then she went to vet school and now works part-time as a vet. I am the service manager for Culligan Water Treatment, where I have worked for 20 years now.
We have about 20 chickens in our backyard that we enjoy messing with. They keep us well supplied with eggs, and Caleb sells the rest (to save up money for college!) We are actively involved in the A&M church of Christ here in College Station. God has blessed our lives richly with family and friends, and fond memories, including those of my days at Alice High School!

very blessed to have the opportunity to travel to Mexico and Central America on several occasions, including 3 trips to Belize, one of our favorite places to visit. We have enjoyed exploring several Mayan ruins in Belize, and Tikal in Guatemala. We especially enjoy seeing the cool wildlife there, including howler monkeys, toucans, and lots of beautiful, colorful birds.
I enjoy piddling in photography and videography as a hobby. Pam and I have put several video/slide shows together for church events, Caleb's soccer team, and for family . . . just for fun.
Some of you will remember my dad, Larry O'Rear, who taught Math and Science at Alice when we were in school. Dad died of cancer in December 1989, just a week before our daughter was born. We still miss him dearly.
