Wesley's Story
Life
After High School, I enlisted in the Army National Guard in Ashland, KY. I was in the Guard for one six year enlistment, and got out. During these six years, I met and married my lovely wife, Carol. I worked at Amir's Pizza in Flatwoods, and at Giovanni's Pizza in Ashland. I was also an Auxilliary Patrolman for the Flatwoods Police Department. Not long after I got out of the Army Guard, I enlisted (and made a career) in the US Air Force. I've been to almost every one of the US continental states, and to several foreign countries. My last duty station in the Air Force was Dyess Air Force Base, in Abilene, TX. I'm now retired from the Air Force (as of December 1, 2005), but...Expand for more
I still live in Abilene. I was in the Air Force for twenty years. On my current job, I work on oil field equipment. It's an extremely dirty job and very strenuous, but the pay is decent. My hobbies include church, playing and/or listening to music (mainly, Christian music), camping, fishing, travel, visiting renaissance festivals (in full costume, of course), and working on my computer. I'm still married to Carol. I have three step-sons (Eddie, Chuck, and Tony), and one step-daughter (Tammy). I have two dogs and a bird. I'm doing alright, for a simple country boy. I've lived a lot, been places, seen things, made a lot of friends (many of whom I do miss), and a lot of memories.
