Whitney's Story

Life I returned to Bullhead City to teach. Married my college sweetheart during my first spring break. I taught for eight years while earning my Master's Degree, had two wonderful daughters, and am now a principal working on my doctorate. lhead City to Phoenix/Tempe was quite the experience. I stayed in band, and at my first football game I realized you could fit all of Mohave County in the stadium and still have room! Started in education and ended in education; was active in the band and all of those trappings, which helped me move to the five year plan about midway through. Again, college was a blast, and I wouldn't have changed a thing. Afterall, it was in college that I met my future wife! Workplace I began in the school district at Fort Mojave Elementary as a fourth grade teacher and taught for 8 years; moved down to Mohave Valley Elementary to become assistant principal, and two years later became principal. I've been there since.
