William's Story
After I graduated in 1962 I worked for the Bank for two more years. Then I felt called to go into the ministry;
I went back to school, graduated from Brewton Parker with an A.A. degree, Later got my B.S.
degree from from Mercer University and then my Masters of Divinity Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary
in Wake Forest N.C.
In 1966 I married Virginia Jones of Lyons, Georgia. We had four wonderful kids. My wife died from Lukemia in
1985 and I found myself as a single parent for about 5 years. I then married Janice Tur...Expand for more

to my family and now Janice and I have 14 grand children, and 1 great grand child. They all get along real well and the only problem I have is they like to aggrevate me. They just call it pay back. I don't understand that if you believe me. We all get together about two times a year. I now live in Rossville, Georgia where I bought a house when I retired from the full time Pastorate about 4 years ago. I now serve a small church which we are trying to rebuild.
