William's Story
We grew up in Newgulf, Texas, but we were in Bay City almost every weekend. Our extended family were there. Our family moved to Bay City during the second half the 8th grade. After graduating from Bay City High School in 1973, I attended Texas A&M in College Station for about 2 years. I transferred to the University of Texas and graduated with a B.A. in Biology. and graduated in 1983. I went to work for a mid-size law firm in Houston in the Real Estate section. In 1988, I met and married Janet Williams, the love of my life. I left the firm and went into private practice. I continue to practice corporate and real estate law (and recently wills, probate and estate law). We moved from Houston to Bay City in 2012 and have lived here ever since. We live in an old home that was built in 1920s and have enjoyed being among friends and family.
