William's Story
I retired and sold our Insurance Brokerage (my brother and myself) to 19 of our Management Employees in 2003. Had previously bought a lake house on Hayden Lake, ID (Next to Coeur d' Alene) where we spend 5 to 6 months a year. Married to a wonderful lady for 20 years, Linda and have two kids of my own plus Linda's son who have given us 8 wonderful grandkids ages 19 to 2. at Hayden Lake CC. But did travel to Italy for a month and Germany and etc. Unfortunately I developed Interstitial Pumonary Fibrosis (IPF) while in Italy. My lungs began to deterioriate until my only hope was a transplant. Luckly...and there is a God, a set of lungs came available 2 days before my death. I am now doing fine after one year of a new life and look forward to more golf, traveling and a long life.. During my recovery, I really enjoyed connecting with old friends and classmates.
