Hi all, I was born in South Chicago December 4th, 1950 and lived in Oak Lawn at ther same spot Richards High is located at on 107th and Central. We had a farm there. My father was killed in 1952 in a bulldozer accident and my mother and I lived there with my grandparents, myself and my unborn sister who was born in 1952 her name is Barbara. My mother remarried in 1955 and we had 5 other half brothers and sisters. I atted St. Christinas school in Mt Greenwood till 5th grade and then went to Stony Creek grade schools till 8th grade graduation.We were the first graduation class in that school.I then went to Eisenhower for one year and then Richards for the next three years where I graduated. I worked for Shell oil and Alsip auto repair till I was drafted intot the Army in 1970, I received the rank of E-5 Staff Sargeant and was discharged in 1972.
