This Photo was taken on Thanksgiving Day 2008.My wife Mary, grandson Patrick Thomas Daily, and me. Patrick, I am proud to tell you is an EAGLE BOY SCOUT. My biggest surprise was when I became interested in Emergency Medicine. I was a certiified (EMT-I) Emergency Medical Technician Intermediate, in the state of Connecticut during the years 1979 to 1990. I was a volunteer on Madison Connecticut Ambulance at night & weekends. This was a very rewarding experience to assist the sick and injured, especiially the elderly. Madison CT was 20 minutes from the nearest hospital, YNHH or Saint Raphael's Hospital in New Haven Ct. or Middlesex Hospital in Middletown CT. EMT'S must be recertified every two years in written tests and practical situations as well as CPR in order to remain certified as an EMT.
