William's Story
Life
Being born in 1945 in Huntington, NY, I was able to experience the baby boom and suburban explosion first hand. After completing high school and some college, I entered the workforce and pursued a technical career. My first marriage in 1966 ended in divorce. My second, to Pia, is still going strong at over 40 years. I completed college in 2002 with a BA - Summa Cum Laude, in History, and presently teach high school humanities from a history viewpoint. Besides marrying Pia and moving to New England, my most important decision was accepting Christ as my savior in 1971, after recognizing that mere religion did not guarantee enternity nor answer all life's questions.
School
I attended Eastern Military Academy from 1957 to 1963, when I graduated as Cadet Master Sgt., Troop A. Although I was active in several areas, I preferred the cavalry and am still a horse owner.
Am presently married 31 years, 4 children and one grandchild, so far.

llege
I attended Stevens Institute of Technology in 1963, Hofstra University from 1964-66. Then night courses at SUNY Farmingdale in the 1960's - 70's.
Entered UNH-Manchester 1997, graduated 2004, Summa Cum Laude, BA-History. Member of Phi Beta Kappa, Phi Alpha Theta (History), Phi Kappa Phi (Honor). Taught classes and gave public lectures prior to graduation. Took post grad courses in Education, intend to go for MA later. Still keep in touch with UNHM.
Workplace
I left college in 1966 to work in a machine shop. Later worked at Ogden Test Labs, then in the QA dept of TRG, a military contractor. Later, I was at Dynell/Norden Systems for 7 years before moving to New England. Jobs at Modicon, Visual Technology, Dataproducts, Racal Interlan, and EMC followed as I developed my Component Engineering career. Some exciting times. Learned a lot.
Currently teaching History-Humanities at Jesse Remington HS in Candia, NH. Love it, but lots of work.
