William's Story
Life
I joined the USAF in January of 1955 and retired 22 years later in February of 1977. While in the Air Force I served in England, Germany, Okinawa, Korea, Thailand and Viet Nam. Stateside assignments included Sampson, AFB, Scott AFB, Seymour Johnson AFB, Barksdale AFB, and Keesler AFB where I retired and began a Civil Service Career teaching Electronic Systems for the USAF till my final retirement in June of ...Expand for more
1998. I am married to my wife Glenda for the past 50 years. We have three sons and one daughter and 8 grandchildren. We all live in the Gulfport Mississippi area with the exception of our oldest son Michael who is retired from the Air Force and living presently in Minot North Dakota. Most of my spare time is now spent with my wife and grandchildren. I'm also in the process of writing a novel and an autobiography.
