rom Germany to Cape Town, South Africa via a 1959 Volkswagen Bus, June 1971 to October 1971 with three great friends. Worked in Cape Town for about a year. Civilian flight instructor for the U.S. Army training candidates at the Army's Helicopter Training Center at Fort Rucker Alabama. Worked in Radio and Television for CBS and NBS affiliates in Phoenix and Denver. Flew in the outback of Australia doing geological survey work and searched for diamonds and gold. Flew Helicopters off the coast of Louisiana supporting off shore oil rigs. Piloted Sikorsky helicopters for Resorts Casino in Atlantic City, NJ flying "high rollers" to and from the casino. Flew executives and research doctors for Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. Forty years and 14,000 hours later, I retired. A great career I wouldn't trade for anything. Great memories..........".
