William's Story

Life - Biography Bill Dubovsky – 09/2009 In 1994, after a 13 year career of increasing responsibilities in training, sales, marketing, management and customer services at Digital Equipment Corporation (now Hewlett-Packard Corporation), Bill Dubovsky founded Comtel Information Services, a consulting firm that provides telecommunication voice and Internet cost control solutions for businesses and organizations. Comtel Information Services works with organizations to significantly reduce overall telecommunication costs while improving the reliability of services. Utilizing a nationwide network of technology professionals, Comtel Information Services eliminates inadvertent mismanagement and suggests new voice and Internet services to gain economies of scale and competitive advantage. Similar to an independent insurance agency, Comtel¿s service providers underwrite the consulting fee so there is no out-of-pocket cost to clients. A former science teacher at Notre Dame Academy and New Dorp High School on Staten Island, as well as an adjunct lecturer in computer science, he currently teaches marketing research and other business courses at the College of Staten Island, City University of New York. He has held leadership positions in the BUCKS Business Network and in Chamber of Commerce committees, seminars, round-tables and activities. He is a 1997 recipient of the Cham...Expand for more
