William's Story
After my experiences in the Navy I went on to persue several venues within the medical community. My discharge from the Navy brought me back to my family in Wichita. While in Wichita, I became gainfully employed by the Veterans Administration is where I had worked with those who had helped preserve and defended those liberties and freedoms that we hold onto and often take for granted. After spending some time within the VA system and honing my surgical prowess in anatomical pathology I went onto and pursued forensic pathology in the Southwest where I became gainfully employed by the Forensic Science Center. ing and quite rewarding to say the least. Having spent 23 years there I am currently retired from that work. Now that I am retired, I am now consulting, teaching and recovering for a large organization that provides anatomical tissues for a myriad of medical researchers.
I am married (happily) and have been for 30+ years. Yes! It took me awhile but I did find and married my best friend! We are both career minded individuals and have very little time for the superfluous. That's the good old Midwest work ethic for you, this is for those who know what I am talking about!
