William's Story

Life I was the first baby born in Ottumwa on January 1, 1939. I attended Jefferson grade school until 6th grade when we were bussed to Wildwood school. For 7th grade I attended Wildwood again. I was part of the first 8th grade class to attend the new Evans Junior High. I attended ISTC in Ce...Expand for more
dar Falls and graduated in 1961. I taught science and physics in Williamsburg Iowa for one year. I spent the next 20 years in the Air Force and retired in 1983. I currently work for the federal government at the Department of the Inerior. I plan to retire on the 30th of December of this year.
