William's Story
Hello my old friends. It's been 50 years since I saw any of you. My recollection is that we graduated on a Friday night. I woke up two days later at Parris Island, South Carolina where I began my great adventure as a US Marine. I served a bit over four years; got out and started college. I wound up with my MBA and started teaching in the North Carolina Community College system. I retired January 1, 2005 as Chairman of the Accounting Department of Fayetteville Technical Community College with 35 years service. I have been married two times. for 20 years to my beautiful wife "Patricia". I am the proud father of three children; step-father to three fine young people, and grandfather to ten wonderful (to me anyway) grandchildren. I am an avid RV'er and enjoy nothing more than spending time in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina. Some of you may remember Sonny Padgett. He was my best friend during high school and we joined the Marine Corps together. I have lost track of Sonny and am asking your help in finding him.
