William's Story
Life
The updated version of my life finds me retired from teaching chemistry after 35 years. My two children are college graduates now. Katie is in her second year of graduate school in psychology and will have her masters in May. The doctorate will follow after she puts in her clinical hours. Glen is putting his business degree to use working for Riverhead Building Supply and hopes to get them to pay for his graduate degree. I am a man of leisure. boys winter and spring track teams at Smithtown High School East. It keeps me busy and the kids are always fun. I also work as a consultant for Syracuse University as a part of their Project Advance program. I worked last year editing and correcting their freshman chemistry problem manual and on-line test bank. I am also working with a professor who has asked me to help edit the forensics text book he is writing. It's very interesting material and I enjoy the "learning while earning" aspect of that work.
