William's Story
After high school I held a fulltime job and went to school full time as well. After awhile one of them had to had to take a back seat, I had to take the full time job. I worked in a restaurant for awhile, became a supervisor and then went into truck modification in Louisville afterwards. I worked with one upfitting organization for about 3 years and then quit that job and went to work for the new competition that came to town just across street from where I was currently employed. tallation tech and then moved to floor supervisor within 2yrs. Then in 1999 we started a new portion of our business changing gasoline engines to run off of propane (both actually, gas & propane). That program lasted about 3 years, no money to be made. I still held my position as a floor supervisor for 2 more yrs. In 2004 I was promoted to Production Manager and have been in training for the past 3yrs to take over the Plant/Operations Manager position. Although I did not get to complete my college education, I have worked/working my way to the top.
