William's Story
For those of you looking for a present day photo, sorry. I don't really have many photos. After I graduated from THS in 65, I hired in Gooyear on hourly. Some of the jobs I had include tire building, tire inspection, chemical plants, and many hourly jobs too numerous to list. In 1967, I married my wife, Donna from Garfield, and we rented an apartment in Uniontown. I stayed close to some Tallmadge-items (hope that's spelled correctly) including Roy Pugh, Bill Muncy, and Melvin McGarvey. We stayed with each other for many y...Expand for more
ears until one-by-one they moved. I had one child, Melissa Huth, who was born in 1968 and graduated 17 years later from THS. I now have a granddaughter, Babette, who just turned 18. After 37.5years at Goodyear, I retired. The last 18 years at Goodyear I worked in Research and the Techcenter. I attended The University of Akron majoring in Electronic Technology. I didn't quite get my associates degree as I'm missing ~ three classes. Well, I'm looking forward to our get-together at Sammi's.
