William's Story
Served in the naval reserve from 1961 to 1967. Went to boot camp in the summer of 1963. Between 11th and 12 grade of high school. I finished high school. Then went into the Seabees. I went to class A electrician's school at Port Hueneme, California. From there went to Adak, Alaska for a year. Then was assigned to Mobile Construction Battalion 9 and ended up in Dienag Vietnam.

ent to work for the US Postal Service. Went to their schools for over 13 years in Norman, Oklahoma. Retired as maintenance manager.
Now I sell real estate in Jacksonville, North Carolina, and also still travel for the Postal Service as a contractor.
Been married to my wife Betty for 53 years. Have one daughter and one adopted daughter. Have four grandchildren.
Love going to the ocean here where the water temperature is 84 degrees in the summer.
