William's Story
Let's see...the short and sweet of it. Graduated 1975, joined the Navy for 20 years, retired in 1995. Ended up in
the panhandle of Florida working for the State. I am currently a Correctional Officer Sergeant with the Department
of Corrections. Going on 14 years. Am on my 2nd marriage, have no kids of my own, but have one beautiful step daughter (30 sumthin)and 3 stepsons. The youngest is 16 and fixin'(that's southern) to start driving. GOD help us
all!!! I am gray, eyesight is shot, still got most of my teeth. Fighting the ever increasing gravity that pulls everything south. My youth is catching up with me and giving me hell. It has been an awesome life so far and hope to be
around to enjoy a few more. Have made a gazillion mistakes, have hurt alot of people (for which I am so very very sorry)! Have a great new attitude at 50...Don't care! Would love to meet new friends and renew with ...Expand for more
old friends.
Life is too short and the older you get, the shorter it gets!!!
In the words of the great Alfred E. Neumann.."What, me worry???!!)
Well, here it is 3 years later (2012). I am still in Florida working for DOC. Still married, but wifey lives out of town following her career. Youngest stepson is now 20 and finally got his license. Had a "heart event" in May 2011.
Had a stent put in one of my arteries. I am doing well, always reliving the fight of the Battle of the Bulge (damn gravity). Just turned 56, a couple of years and I won't have to feel guilty about getting the seniors discount at Ryan's.
Heard from one person from my WAY back past who lives nearby in P-cola. Hoping to hear from him again.
Re-touched with myfirst love (Maxine) and I keep track of her on Facebook. She is having some health problems and needs out support and prayers.
Y'all be good till I update again, Will
