More about William:"As a child William and his siblings grew up with a jazz giant, music was always being played in the house. Dad had us working and washing dishes to music in the back ground. Saturday washing the car and doing the yard to music. We have many fond memories such as daddy coming home and waking us all up to eat fried chicken with macaroni salad and french fries, we would sit on the floor at his bed side and eat with our eyes closed. Daddy would then put us to bed. At other times mother would wake us to watch Daddy on TV playing a Jerry Lewis telethon. Looking back with such fond memories. I to the greats, we met Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Lionel Hampton, Harry James, Eddie Lockjaw Davis, Woody Herman, Wes Montgomery, Bobby Platter, and many more, giving us and inside view of show business. Brother Gene and I are the proud sons of Legendary Sax King Gene Morris of the Lionel Hampton Orchestra, and the Famous Gene Morris quartet. William has carried on the Family musicial tradition for the past 41 years as saxophonist/vocalist, early years with the Gene Williams Show, Gene Williams having been a 30 year veteran bass singer for the famous Platters and 1st cousin to William Morris started grooming William for a lifetime of entertainment. Later to become leader of the William Morris Show in and around the Greater San Joaquin Valley and including performances in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Hotel to the Newport Resort Hotel in Miami Beach Florida. He is an accomplished Saxophonist and gifted entertainer. Teamed with brother Gene Morris the 3rd. 'Drummer' leader, and brother inlaw Ronald Austin 'Bassist' as part of the MorrisCode show band. That took Sacramento by storm in the 70s. William has had the honor of playing with noted Individuals and groups as the Platters, B.B. King, Spencer Davis, Johnny Heartsman, Motowns Bobby Taylor, J.J. Jackson, Aaron Neville of the Famous Neville brothers. William has been Honored with his own Proclamation by the City of Fresno's Mayor Alan Autry making December 30th, William Morris Day in the City of Fresno. And has had bestowed upon him the Key to the City of Fresno.".
