William's Story
This is my story,
After high school I worked for five years in a grocery store in Laguna Beach right off of highway 101. This stated my love of So.Cal. beaches from Long Beach to Mission Bay. I loved to ride my motor cycle, Scuba dive and sailing. In 1965 I joined the army and after training I was a assigned to 25th Infantry Division in Hawaii. eployed to Vietnam. The Division was divided in two parts, and mine was attached to the First Calvary Division in the central highlands. I was on one operation it was in the Ia Drang valley and Cu Pong Mountains. this was the longest combat operation in USA history(8 months).
After the army I worked for Sears and Roebuck for 10 years, Self employed in Boise Idaho for 5 and 26 years with the Los Angeles School District. In 2005 I retired to help take care of my sick parents. I was there main care giver. This was a 10 years of bad times for the family.
