William's Story
Well my story is prob the same as a lot of peoples....high hopes, followed shortly thereafter by crushed dreams.....j/k folks.
Life has been unusually fair to me. More than fair really. I went to Art school in Chicago following HS and got an Associates Degree which may or may not have helped me on several job interviews. I worked for a while in a silk screen company, whose clients included rock/punk bands and bars (including backstage passes) then moved on to Michigan Ave. My fav job I ever had was in the Playboy Building 919 n. Michigan....we had the whole 18th floor and I was king of the world for a while....late 70s early 80s.... The birth of punk. Life was beyond good. Time marches on and so did I. ving easy. I got married in 1987 and had my beautiful girl in 1991. Happy, married & all that stuff until 2008, now happier single but missing my kid (she graduates HS this year!), I'm thinking over my life and my friends from the past (or future), are you among them? Drop a line if you like, times change, maybe today we have lots in common. Today I like to hang out with friends, go to estate sales (buy then sell on eBay), go to concerts (I love the House of Blues), attend Sports or watch on TV, GO Cubs, Bears, Bulls, Blackhawks! I love the city, even just going down to shop Record stores, or Vintage places. I have a cat that drives me crazy, but he's easier to care for than a dog (I love dogs). I work in McH these days which makes for a short, sweet commute. I like my job, and especially the crazy people I work with, life is good.
