Pam's Story
Life
Hi.
I've realized that it's been some years since I wrote my original bio and it was outdated.
It's the year 2007. I have two daughters. Kristi is my oldest. She is married and the mother of my fantastic grandson, Christian. He is 18 months old. Whoever said that boys were easier to raise than girls hasn't met Christian. I babysit him everyday and he's harder to handle than my two daughters or my granddaughter was at that age. Kristi is a Deputy Prosecutor with the Elkhart County Prosecutors office. Since she has such a demanding job and her husband is an over the road truck driver, I have Christian a lot.
My youngest daughter Kathy is the mother of the best granddaughter in the world. Kathy has had many health problems over the years and suffered a near fatal car accident in 2001 and is currently unable to work. But, she's a great Mom and stepmom. Her daughter Mickenzie is 11 and will be 12 this year. Wow, time has really gone by fast with her. Since she was born, she's spent almost as much time with me as with her Mom, until recentl...Expand for more
y. She is getting to the age where friends are so important and being with grandma is coming in second. This is the worst kind of withdrawal!
My step grandson Nathan is almost 16. He came into our family in 2001. He's at a hard age but we're keeping our fingers crossed that he makes it through these tough years in one piece!
My husband and I have been married for 32 years. We own our own one man trucking company and live comfortably here in Amish country near Middlebury Indiana.
I don't work outside the home any more. I just care for my grandson and my granddaughter, when she allows me to!
I recently heard from an old friend that I grew up with as a result of Classmates.com so it impelled me to update my bio. I think of a lot of my old friends often and can't believe it's been so many years since we've been out of school. How many of you remember rolling your eyes at your parents when they said to enjoy every day because they go by so quickly? Boy, were they right.
Anyway, if anyone would care to catch up, don't hestitate to contact me.
Pam
