William (Bill) Swinford:  

If anyone remembers I didn't complete my senior year at Jonesboro. I left home & Jonesboro in the spring of 79 after my girlfriend Molly & I split, that wasn't the reason but that's another story. I came to Rome Ga. and I completed my senior here. I met & later married iMichelle Canady of Augusta while she was attending Shorter College here in Rome. We were married in 1984 & had our only child a girl Brittani in September of 85. We moved to Augusta in 1988 after Michelle earned a teaching degree at Berry College. Unfortunately Michelle died in December of 1990 from a condition that effected the signals from her brain to her heart. This caused her heart to basically quiver instead of beating and pushing bleed through her body she was 29. A couple of years later I met & married Torri Theis of Omaha she was living in Augusta. I gained a step son & daughter out of this marriage. And although we divorced in 2001 & I've never remarried. Her daughter Megan at 17 choose to stay with me & the son Camron had already moved out. The daughter Megan has 4 children who all call me grandpa. The son Camron looks a lot like me, I was his best man when he married while his father sat in the front row at the church.
