William's Story
After enlisting in the U.S. Army out of high school, I went thru basic training and eventually ending up in Bangkok, Thailand for 1 1/2 years (1967-August 1968). Returning home I entered college at Northwood Institute (now Northwood University, ) in MIdland, Michigan where I got my associates degree in hotel and restaurant management. at my wife could be close to her parents who had moved to Las Vegas. Angie and I became parents for the second time with our daughter Susan in 1983. I eventually found my true career calling when I found work at Hoover Dam in November 1984. There I went to work as a tour guide selling tickets to see the dam, to a Information Technology Specialist (GS11) Network Administrator, setting up computers, trouble shooting computers and printers. I retired from Hoover Dam in June 2006.
I'm in the process of moving back to Las Vegas to be near my daughter and my three grandchildren.

Best Regards
