William's Story
Quick and dirty....... After graduation, moved to Oahu with the family. Attended U OF H until I flunked out. Kinda "cruzed" through the 70's. During that time worked as a "pupu cook" at the ilikai Hotel. About 5 years later I decided to end my days of debauchery and "dawn patrol" surf sessions, went into a Dinner/Pastry Cook Apprenticeship program, graduated with honors, traveled almost around the world as a cook than chef. the past 40 years, elected into the International ACF American Academy Chefs. Presently have my own consulting firm of Chefs, Hawaiian Culinary Consultants.And as of last year have become a food writer. First book, "So you want to be a chef......are you nuts"!, should be out in June of 2016, and the 2nd book, "Sometime I can cook......and sometimes I can't!", out in April of 2017............i have a 22 year old hapa-haole hula dancing daughter, Maile Renee...............that's it.
