William Hatten:  

Graduated Eldorado 1974. Went to L.A. in 1975. Hitchhiked from LA to Salem, OR and back along Pacific Coast highway. Worked in LA for a year as a carpet installation helper. Returned to Albuquerque in 1976 and started my own carpet installation business. Closed the business in late 1978 when the bottom fell out of construction. Got married in 1978 to a girl with a little boy (Jeremie). Adopted Jeremie in 1979. Went to TVI and graduated from the Civil Surveying and Drafting program in 1980. Started working at a Civil Engineering firm in 1980. Had a daughter (Tammi) in 1980. Went to work as a draftsman for a Telephone Engineering company in 1981. Got divorced in 1981 and left Albuquerque. Worked all over the country from 1981 to 1985 as a Telecommunications contractor. Lived in Dallas TX , Port Charlotte FL, Atlanta GA, Sacramento CA, and walked from Chicago IL to St Louise MO designing a buried fiber optic cable route for a new long distance company named MCI. Returned to Albuquerque in 1985 and met a wonderful girl named Priscilla. Took Priscilla and her 4yr old son (Erik) with me back to Chicago IL where I worked as a designer for AT&T. In 1986 we moved to Madison, WI and I went to work at Wisconsin Bell. Left Madison in 1988 and took a job for MCI in Dallas TX. Priscilla and I got married in 1990.
