WOw! What a ride. After quitting NA High I started working as a copy boy for the Newark Evening News (A fantastic story on its own). I attended Central High School, in Newark at night. In 1958 I joined the USAF and met my wife and married in 1959. My wife Janet was an Air Force nurse and a lieutenant stationed with me at Carswell Air Force Base in Fort Worth, Texas.
I graduated from Merced College in Merced, California with a degree in Business Administration.
In 1964 Jan and I had our first and only child,Patrick. Patrick has a Masters Degree in Education and is a teacher at a school close to our home. He encouraged me to go back to school. I received my teaching credentials and taught grade school for a few years.
I retired from the USAF in 1978 as a Hospital Medical Resource Manager. My career field was frozen for many years and promotions were diffficult....Expand for more
I did retire as a TSgt after 20 years of service.
My son and I opened a bicycle store in the 1980s and enjoyed the years in business. He formed a team and raced thoughout California.
We live in a small central California town of Atwater, We have lived in this town for over 30 years. Our present home is in a Home Owners Association and is a Victorian style we had built in 1990. It is situated on a manmade lake .
My only child Patrick is married to a Polish Girl he met in London. They married and have one child Natalia who is 5 and does she love to pull my chains! We are Happy and enjoying a wonderful life with the Blessing of God.
