William's Story
From Stanford I received an AB in '52 and MBA in '54. During the next two years in the army, I turned down an opportunity to play baseball throughout Europe for a year in exchange for a job as an accountant/concierge in a hotel in Paris used by the top army officers in Europe. ounded 4 organizations: a neighborhood association, BCAC, in '73, which has produced many elected officials, including the last 2 San Jose mayors; United Neighborhoods of Santa Clara County, an umbrella organization for neighborhood organizations in our county, the Berryessa-Milpitas Republican Assembly, and the Berryessa Business Association. I was also involved in the writing of a state initiative requiring a fairly chosen Redistricting Commission for drawing the lines for future state elections. BCAC is now busy giving testimony for drawing the lines for the city, county, water district, state, and congess. I am married to Gervaise and have 3 children and 9 grandchildren. All have been involved in athletics, and almost all have been good students.
My wife and I have been in every state.
