William's Story
Life has been good since High School. I have been in the computer field most of the time. One of the jobs I had, allowed me to travel around the US. I have been up and down the East coast, and out West. At one point I was the Network Administrator for a nation wide truck manufacture. The company did around $400 million dollars in annual sales, but the stress was high. I changed jobs because of the down turn in the market, and I took a job with a lot less stress. I'm currently the System Administrator for a local school district. It allows me to be home with the family a lot more then the other jobs I have had. That's been great. Since High School,I have done more then just work, I lead a Church youth group for 15 years. It was very rewarding work teaching the kids about God. I also was a Fireman for several years, I got my firefighter 1 cert. and my EMS first responder. I took Aikido for...Expand for more
a few years. I've been married for 12 years. My wife and I grew up around each other. Kelly was my best friend's younger sister. Sean asked me to watch his sister while he was off at college. So I did. Kelly asked me out soon after Sean was off at school. That was about 18 + years ago. I still have my eyes on her. We have 2 kids and enjoy every moment with them. As I write this note, I find my mind drifting back to the days at Mifflin. I had a lot of good memories and a few bad ones as well. But in the grand scheme of things, public school is such a small amount of time in life. At the time of this note, I have been out of school for 20 years, and I was only in public school for 12. I have to say I've had a lot more fun since school. The best moments started after I got out. Finding God, finding my Wife, and having kids have been the best things so far. I'm looking forward to the next 20 years.
