I blinked and 35 years went by in a flash. After high school, I graduated from NIU in 1979, during the Saturday Night Fever era. At least the school now has a respectable football team versus those years. I have been in the financial services industry since 1979. I was elected to the board of directors of the largest non profit financial services in the US and served a 4 year term in the late 1980s.This put me into the face track and required traveling 2-4 trips per month and the experience was invaluable After my term completed, I needed more excitement in my career, so I became a member of the Chicago Board of Trade, which took care of this need. As a pit trader, I learned how to become a professional trader and still trade. These good years allowed me to travel to parts of the globe I wanted to visit. I played golf for 12 years at a local private country club and discovered my better golf days were behind me as I approached 50. I now spend part of the winter in Florida and summers in Northern Wisconsin. The sun, sand and fishing have always attracted me. I currently serve on the board of directors of 2 major hospitals in Chicago. I am excited to be part of a dynamic organization that is driven to offer the best medical care in the Chicagoland area.
