William's Story
Life
It's been a long and interesting road...
After graduation, I did the usual: LBCC, CSULB. Working at Wilson as a college aide for Mr. Rattenbury gave me a taste for teaching, so I went into education. My first teaching job was at Dominguez HS in Compton, then at Glenn HS in Norwalk. In '85, the print shop job at Wilson opened up, so I grabbed it and held on with both hands. Meanwhile, in 1979 I married a wonderful girl from Fresno named Sara McDonald (yes, I created Sara Lee!) We've been through a lot, but love of each other and of God has held us together. We don't have any kids, but we have a full life being involved in ministering to Deaf persons. We've been part of a Sign Language congregation for 9 years and we love it.
