William's Story
For the most part, fellow students I graduated with never knew I existed. I have always been a very quiet person and never sought the limelight. I still had great friends in school. Some boys and girls that I knew from Elementary to High school I considered almost brothers and sisters since I knew them so well. Remember walking the halls after lunch ??? have fond memories of the great teachers we had. Met my sweetheart the last few months of my senior year. She was Vickie King and a sophomore at Spruce. She was in the band so I went to the football games for two more after graduating. Got to know a lot of underclass students. Also got to see many of my graduating classmates there. After marrying Vickie in 1973 we both just lost touch with classmates. We live in Mesquite now and are planning to move to Van Zandt County in the near future.
