William's Story
"What a long strange trip it's been"
After graduating High School I continued to advance my music career and also attended a electronics Tech. school of which I graduated in 1969.
From "69 -72" I played in a local Blues band "Waffle Davis", in "73" formed the Country Rock-Blue Grass Band "Green Pond Mt. Rangers" who played clubs and toured concert venues up and down the East Coast. In 1975 I formed the Southern Rock band "Desperate Men" and played 5-6 gigs a week in concert halls and clubs primarily in the Northeast. We were the opening act for well known U.S. bands such as Marshal Tucker, Hank Williams Jr., Jerry Jeff Walker, ...Expand for more
Johnny Winter, Levon Helm, Rick Danco (of the Band) and many more.
In 1983 I made a career change and became a S.E.C.& N.A.S.D registered stockbroker/Investment Banker. I worked on Wall St. for the next 23 yrs. as a senior VP of International Business Development and traveled extensively throughout Europe and Scandinavia. Currently I work at home as a self employed corporate consultant, part time musician and I am married with four children- Dustin age 29, James age 27, Douglas age 21 & Ian age 17.
I am forming a new band with my old friend Erv Semf and we hope some of you come out and party with us, I'll keep you informed!
