William's Story
Wow, a chance for me to put all of my private thoughts and emotions out for public view.
Okay, here's one... a buddy of mine brought some pictures from the drag strip; he got a shot of me in the staging lanes that showed the bald spot that everyone but me had seen... boy, was I p****d.
Guess it serves me right for laughing at guys with 'skin yarmulkes'. Ain't karma a ***h?
Here's one of their questions: "Parent? Share what you've learned from your kids. " Okay... I learned that some women lie about contraception. And yeah, my daughter taught me that - by being conceived.
If I could see any teacher again, I think it'd be Jackie Hassen, Spanish teache at my first high school (not Ingraham) She was cool as hell.
If I won $100 million, I'd give none of it to guys at freeway overpasses, then spend the rest on commercial real estate, vintage hot rods and scholarship for injured mechanics who can't work anymore..
My current age is 43. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be middle-aged. I was so completely right..
Oh, question #19... what happened to my first crush? Tha...Expand for more
t was thirty years ago. We did eventually start seeing other people and lost track, ya' know... jeez.
#21: "Still dress like you did 10 (or 20) years ago? Talk style. " Yes, I most certainly do. Still wear pants, shoes, shirts, jacket, etc. I don't care what ya' say, a 'utilikilt' is still a man-skirt.
Q: "What's the weirdest job you ever had? "
A: Weirdest? Hard to say. Grosses was one of the slaughterhouses I worked in (no kidding, there were 4); least comfortable; door-to=door selling oil changes, the wildest... hands-down, workin' for the railroad. I could put some stories here, but what happens on the Cascades stays on the Cascades... ;)
Q25: " You get one do-over. What do you do differently?" Easy one. Slam dunk. But I ain't sure if the Statute of Limitations is up yet...
Q: What about you would surprise everyone at your high school reunion?
A: That I don't drink.
My first job was at a factory, where I got paid 2.15/hr to run a lathe. What I remember most about it is the smell of the resin in the bake oven.
Enough of this stuff... time to go find a sandwich.
