William ( Bill )'s Story

Life Moved to Stockton, California in 1974. Still an avid U of M Football fanatic. Owner of a Construction Company specializing in Road and Parking Lot Striping since 1983. Married for 20 years, and have a great 16 year old son. Live in a city of 200,000 which is 50 miles North-East of San Francisco. Do not miss living in the snow, but have a house in the mountains near a Ski resort. We can "visit" the snow, but can then leave and come back to the Valley in an hour. It's also the only way I get to see the four seasons change like they did in Michigan. Had back surgery in June 0f 2005 for a disc that bulged (T-10) and damaged my Spinal Cord. Now have no feeling in left leg, nor righ...Expand for more
t foot. But at least I can still walk. They said I was never going to walk again and be 80% like Christopher Reeve. I fooled them. I do miss Snow skiing, but I can do most everything else except skiing, golf, bowling. We attend a lot of Sports here. We have: Stockton Thunder (Hockey) of the ECHL League, Stockton Lightning (Arena 2 Football), California Cougars (Indoor Soccer) of the MISL League, Stockton Ports (Class A Professional baseball of the Oakland A's Franchise), University of the Pacific (Div I Sports), Oakland A's, San Francisco Giants, Oakland raiders, San Francisco 49ers, Sacramento Kings, Golden State Warriors, Cal, Stanford. I keep Season Tickets to all the local venues.
