Life Born: Tulsa OK - 1954 Lived there 2 yrs before moving to - New Orleans LA: Lived there 2 yrs. Married student quadplex, Mardi Gras, catching crab in the Gulf and a draw bridge are the most of what I remember. Moved to - Booneville MS: Lived there 4 yrs Started school in fall of '60 Kennedy/Nixon running for President. John Glenn into space. Moved to - Ft. Worth TX: Lived there 3 yrs. Best Friend - Mark Buckner. Pres. Kennedy shot when in 4th grade. Started playing trumpet in 5th grade. Moved to - St. Louis MO: Only there 1 yr - 6th grade. Arch was being built. Saw Cardinals games in both "old" Sportsman Stadium & the "new" Busch Memorial Stadium that year. (Saw one of the last games in Busch in 2005) Train/Car accident - July 5, 1966 while on vacation in OK. (Yes, I lived. As did 6 other people.) Moved to - Las Vegas NV: All of Jr. High & Soph year of High School. Saw Evil Kanevil jump Caesers Palace Fountains. Circus-Circus opened. Moved to - Sperry OK: The town smaller than my previous high school. Gave up band for football. (How does a wide receiver fit into the wishbone?) Graduating class of 72 (yes, that was the yr & how many we had). Stuck around for 3 semesters of college and went to - Miami OK: Spent 2 semesters at one of the most fun times of my life. Music/Theater major. Associates Degree - Moved on to - Stillwater OK: '75 - 2001 Changed majors for the 5th & final time. Sat out fall '76 & spring '77. Got married July 3, 1978. Oldest son born in March 1980. Finished Bachelor Degree (Radio/TV/Film). Second son born Nov 1981. Lived in 6 locations while here. Raised boys & learned a lot about life...Expand for more
