Willona's Story
Life
I have been married for almost two years, to my college sweetheart, Alvin. We have a 2 month old son named Kyle and we currently reside in Evanston, IL.
School
I am currently completing a PhD in Communication Studies and Organizational Behavior at Northwestern University. I also teach undergraduate courses there. My research interests are in organizational change and institutional deviancy. My husband has a law degree from Loyola University and currently works for the Circuit Court of COok County for a judge. College
I did undergrad at Augustana COllege, a small, private liberal arts college. I majored in COmmunication Studies and German. I graduated in 2002. I went directly to Graduate school for a Masters and PhD at Northwestern University. I am currently there now in my last year. In undergrad, I was involved in classical music groups, activism, student government, and campus planning.
Workplace
I teach undergraduate courses at Northwestern University in addition to completing my studies there.
