Hello, I got a request to "tell my story" Hmm......On ships we always say a good "sea story" starts with "Guys this is no B.S." Actually my story is like most people. Went to college, got a job, got married and now have two beautiful daughters. I am hoping to retire when I'm 55 and be around full time for my daughters when they're in high school. in the S.F. Chronicle and my union newspaper which gets me to thinking about my mortality.
I love to go ride around on my motorcycles and I guess I've always had wanderlust in my blood.
There is a joke about when a sailor wants to retire he puts an oar on his shoulder and starts walking inland. When he gets to a town where someone asks what on his shoulder that's where he retires!
