Wilma's Story
Life
I attended Holy Rosary School in Chicago, IL, on South Park from grade 1 to April of grade 7. We moved to Detroit, MI, in 1941 and I finished 7th grade and started 8th grade in St. Martin School. We moved to Berwyn, IL, in November, 1941, and I went to St. Francis of Rome School in Cicero until February when we moved back to Detroit and I finished 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th grades in St. Theresa Grammar and High School. I went to The Immaculata High School for my Senior year and graduated in 1946. I attended Mundelein College for two years, taking a two-year secretarial course. My job after college was as a clerk at a trade magazine. I was married to Frank F. Cicero in February, 1952. We lived in Chicago until May, 1957, when we moved to Bensenville, IL. 967 and Peter in 1970. We moved to Creston, Iowa, in 1965 just before Paula's birth and moved to South Bend, IN, in January, 1973. Frank died in March, 1998. He had prostate cancer and had bone cancer when he was diagnosed. We went on many good trips and have enjoyed our large family. The girls are all married and I have seven grandchildren. This year I went on a cruise to the Bahamas with my sister and brother-in-law and their neighbors in Florida. I also went on a Costa Cruise to the Baltics with people from my church. I keep busy with my garden, senior citizen organization from church, three bridge groups, Jazzercise, Bible Study, babysit for the Mother's Group from church, neighborhood book club and neighborhood Homeowners' organization. I also visit my children who live in Indianapolis and Mary in Phoenix. I would like to hear from former classmates at any of the schools I attended.
