Life Well folks, it's been a few years since we graduated from high school, together, in 1971! Since graduating, I went to college off and on and have 117 hours accumulated at SEMO State University,in Cape Girardeau, Mo., towards my degree in Industrial Engineering Technology with minors in math and marketing. Since we graduated in 1971 I've done a variety of jobs.....I'm presently Semi-retired and still own a few of granddad's houses, but an getting out of the biz by fixing them up and selling them, on 'contract for deed' and just toting the note myself. I'm also a licensed Notary Public, now. I'm considered a 'Cold War era.Vet' and have Honorable Discharges from both, the US Army and Missouri Army National Guard, While in the NG, did attend officer's academy, at Jeff City, to try to become an officer, at the Mo State Highway Patrol Academy, but I let it go! I worked, as an Artillery Surveyor, in the Army and a Construction Surveyor in the MoANG. Also worked at 3 different Daily Newspapers as a Circulation Manager, in Mo. and Illinois.; I published and had printed, a weekly tabloid newspaper and shopper in Senath, for awhile. I worked for the U.S. Corp of Engineers, Memphis District, as a Topographic/Hydrographic Surveyor. and worked on the Mississippi River from the Memphis District, for a yr, till Dr Palenski told me to get out, because of my allergies to poison sumac and ivy! . I've also was a captive Insurance agent for Combined Insurance Agency and then was an independent insurance agent, mainly trying to sell life & health insurance.. I've also owned an VISP, called Missourinet.net that provided dialup, DSL and Satellite connections to the internet. Fe...Expand for more
