Life
...After HS attended ASU five semesters..Dropped out and joined the USAF til 82. Came back to AR and got an Associate's degree in Electronics.. Been working ever since. Married Karen Mobley 1978..Currently we live in Redfield Arkansas. Met my wife at Ark.State. Married 31 years this January We have two children, Lindsey and Woodrow (Solon). She graduated from Ark Tech in Russellvile and he graduated from High School and did three sememsters of college before running out of ambition and trashing his scholarship. Like father like son ( I did the same thing). Karen is a High school Guidance Counselor. I no longer work at Deluxe Video Services in Little Rock. That facility was closed in Jan 07. I began working full-time as a Massage therapist April 07. Did that for 18 months then the economy went in the tank so I bega...Expand for more
n a new 40/week gig with LM Glasfiber. One of those "green-jobs" working for a company that was less than a year old manufacturing huge blades for power generating wind mills; thinking that should keep me busy for another 10 years....nope! Got laid off form there March 13th( yep a FRiday) So currently still seeing a few faithful clients and drawing some unemployment and presently looking for my last last job....
Best friends in West Memphis HS were Ken Stafford and Dickey Bland. Best friends at Rutherford were Lynn Blair, Rocky Bryant and Danny Cordell.
I am no longer involved in local muncipal politics. I lost the mayoral election in "02" by 38 votes in runoff. Ran for mayor of Redfield again..2006..lost again...by 3 votes in a runoff. Maybe I need to lie better...LOL! Looks like I'm not cut out to be a politician.
