Evelyn's Story
Back in Charlottesville since 1991 following a failed marriage. Currently work part time as a lay minister (Not ordained) for the United Methodist Church. Converted to Methodism in 2001 and this was a major switch and a dramatic life change for me. The theology, structure, social principles and worship styles all are a really good match for me and my life has been enriched and broaden greatly.
The work that I do now really follows what has been my pattern - to work for mercy, justice, and preservation related companies.
Personal interest involve travel and I am beginning to plan 10 to 12 trips for groups. Returned in May from a trip to the Panama Canal, Costa Rico, Arub. Looking forward to 2011 for a Provincial French Countryside trip and St. Petrsburg and the Baltic Capitals.

ities include work with the Burley Varisty Club auxiliary. This is the fund raising/activity end of the Burley Varisty Club. If you played sports at Burley, please consider joining the Varsity Club or sending a donation to support their activities. The trophy case that is now in the Burley School lobby is really very nice. Most of the original trophies earned have been returned or duplicated. In addition, there is a collection of memorobilia which has been donated my various people who attended the school. If you have things you would like to donate, just let me know. The dedication (in memory of Coaches Smith, Jones, Greene and Moore) of the sports field and gym was a very nice ceremony and well attended.
Overall, life is good! The thing that may make it better is a significant other.
